Maybe the feathers will settle one day, but at the cost of what? This is the fear of stampede.

Life is a flow of constant dilemma. Why settle when you can have more? But why struggle when you can settle? You are damned if you do and damned if you don't. There is just so much out here! And that's the root cause of any dilemma. It is the sheer fact we have just so many options!

Like dew on a house plant on winter mornings and smiles drawn on by kids with fog, you, my dear, are my volatile happiness. I'll wait for you as I wait for winter mornings on humid summer afternoons.
